The governments of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico expressed concerns about the Israeli occupation government’s decision to legalize new colonial outposts and build thousands of new settlement units in the occupied West Bank.

“Such unilateral measures constitute serious violations to the international law and the Security Council decisions, and increase tension in the area,” the four governments said in a joint statement. They called for the stop of such provocative actions that might lead to wider escalations.
