Channel 12 reported that the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, met with the Commissioner General of the Israeli Police, Jacob Shabtai, regarding the forming of the Israeli National Guard.

The channel indicated that it was agreed between Ben Gvir and Shabtai to review the plan for forming the National Guard.

The Israeli Army Radio correspondent, Shahar Glick, stated Netanyahu and Ben Gvir signed the forming of the National Guard in Israel and that it would be under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense.

Netanyahu had decided to postpone voting on the judicial agjustments to the next Knesset session, after Ben Gvir agreed to do so in return for forming an Israeli "National Guard".
