Is Zionism Coming to an End?

Maxime Rodinson, a French historian, wrote a study titled “Palestine: an Exceptional Case in the History of Decolonization.” In this study, Rodinson talked about the odd colonial case for Palestine and the triangular conflict between the dominant British foreign power and the foreign Jewish settlers coming from overseas. The study also addressed how the migration of those settlers to Palestine is being facilitated and, therefore, their affiliation with and access to a privileged situation. These settlers enjoy protection from the dominant British foreign power, which facilitates their residence separately and dominantly in a way that refuses integration. In comparison with the Palestinians, whose 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine was suppressed. Dominant British power has maintained the Palestinians' situation as a predominantly oppressed people. Furthermore, Britain ended its colonization of Palestine without granting Palestinians' freedom from colonialism.

The Zionist movement, as a racist colonial movement, succeeded in colonizing Palestine and expelling the Palestinians with the help of Britain. It was also able to cover up the major immoral and inhumane crimes it committed against the Palestinians. Not only this, but excluding them and officially stealing their rights to land, property, and their homeland, that is, by legitimizing its racist and colonial policies.

Nevertheless, the Zionism movement's success and persistence are not attributable to its ability to cover up its crimes. Rather, they are mainly attributable to its success in sticking to colonial strategies and the strategies of Western hegemony and dominance. As a result, Israel has become the tool of the West for dominating the world through Palestine.

Zionism dates back to more than 100 years, and has played a significant role in the establishment of Israel's entity for more than 70 years. Contrary to what the Jews themselves, Arabs, and Palestinians claim or have previously claimed, the Zionist occupation entity appears to be more complex. The mythological, religious, nationalist, racist, fascist, and modernist elements all intertwine in this strange, complicated combination.

The internal relations among the various components of the Israeli community itself are affected by this complex combination of Israel's entity. In particular, it’s relations with each other, with land, with history, with Palestinians (landowners), with Arab Islamic environment, and with the rest of the world. This produces paradoxes and contradictions that cannot exist indefinitely, including :

- It goes without saying that Israel, which was created as a reaction to the West racism, anti-Semitism, and crimes against the Jews, is dependent on and owes its material existence, economic advancement, and military and political struggle to the West. Had it not been for the exaggerated Western material and diplomatic support, Israel would not have existed to the present day.

- Israel was established in order to normalize the Jewish condition, that is, to liberate Jews from the parasitic economic practices. In particular, usury, conspiracies, and immoral professions on the European continent. It also sought to make Jews become common citizens who are neither chosen nor dishonest. Leaving that aside, it, today, adheres to its pure ethnicity and religion, Zionism, and Judaism. Also, it rejects being treated differently than other nations. However, it vehemently demands an exception among them while asking the same standards as all other countries.

- Israel, which bases the legitimacy of its existence on the false religious and historical presence in Palestine and the region, in reality, lives outside its region and history. Moreover, it views itself as a Western European nation that despises its surroundings and sees itself only by controlling and subjugating the region to it and its leadership.

- Israel ultimately failed to offer a substantive response to the Jewish question. Israel could not be the state that the Jews envisioned as a means of ensuring their security and rescuing them from the humiliation of Western racism. It didn't even serve as a homeland for all Jews Worldwide. Notwithstanding Israel's military supremacy over its neighbors, it is not a country of stability and security in any way. Thus, Jews today are happier in the United States, Europe, or anywhere than in Israel.

- However, even after decades since its existence, Israel, which was founded on the logic of conflict, murder, and terrorism, is unable to escape the logic of violence, murder, and settlement growth. Furthermore, it opposes any proposals for peace with the Palestinians and the Arabs because it is rife with conceited racism and a constant and resurgent desire to dominate, control, and grow.

The advancement of religious Zionism and its social structure to the core of Israeli leadership and governance, is one of the most significant historical alterations of this Zionist entity, which is filled with paradoxes and contradictions. Hence, the three authorities—operational authority, legislative authority, and judicial authority—came under the entire control of the right-wing bloc. Also, it tries to transform the entity's identity as a theocratic and legislative body from one side. On the other hand, the complete annexation of the West Bank as an integral component of biblical Israel and the annexation of Al-Quds as the historical capital of the Jewish people, and changing its Palestinian, Arabic and Islamic feature, from the opposing side.

Eventually, the Zionist entity has reached its final shape. It goes toward disintegration, political despotism and moral decay. Also, it turned into an entity of pure settlement, and an official racist entity practices the ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians. Thus, it sets itself a complete opposite of Palestine and the civilization of Arabs and Muslims.
