Anyone who has ever lived here is aware that Netanyahu makes empty promises, making it impossible to take any of them seriously. To illustrate, suspending the judiciary and giving a chance for discussion till the beginning of August, are less than what Benny Gantz, the Chief of Staff and Yair Lapid asked him for.
The economy is collapsing, the country is on fire like it's never been before. On the other hand, Netanyahu is outnumbered in the international community, and all he has to offer is his own incapacity, lack of direction, and utter failure on all fronts. In his speech to Israelis yesterday, Netanyahu sounded worn out and defeated. The protests made him waive. Yet the one put him in such situation was his political colleague, the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir. Nevertheless, in his statement yesterday, his didn't abandon his usual method of incitement, division, lies, evading responsibility and blaming others.
Two disastrous polls for the Likud and the right-wing bloc were published yesterday. The 64-seat coalition dropped by 10 seats. Thus, the Likud is being destroyed. On the other hand, the official camp, headed by Benny Gantz, is rising and surpassing, for the first time against the Yesh Atid party. The reason is that the public aspires to a normal life.
As a matter of fact, these months have proven to everyone that the government of right-wing Haredis are no more that failed and inappropriate office holders and not qualified to run even a junk store. Notably, the announcement came from the palace of the ruler of the Emirates, Ibn Zayed, that they do not want to welcome Netanyahu, unlike Naftali Bennett. To sum up, Israel hangs in the balance.
