The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the U.S. administration's patience with Israel’s war on Gaza appears to be running out, noting that former President Donald Trump has called on Netanyahu to “accelerate military operations.”

The paper quoted a "source close to the White House" as saying that during a recent call between Netanyahu and Trump, the latter expressed support for the “need to expel Hamas from Gaza,” stating, “Do it—but do it quickly.”

Netanyahu, in turn, claimed that he wants to free the Israeli captives held in Gaza but insisted, “The only thing that will free them is military pressure—nothing else.”
