The Israeli police urged the colonial settlers to hold their weapons when they came to perform the Passover prayers, emphasizing the need to do so when moving and walking around in the area. 

The Israeli police said that it had reinforced its forces and border guards at the military checkpoints between Israel and the West Bank in order to prevent the entry of Palestinians into Israel. Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces announced imposing closures in the West Bank and on the crossings of the Gaza Strip.

During the Jewish Passover, the Israeli police deploy over 7,500 officers, border guards, and volunteers from all over Israel, particularly in the vicinity of the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Al-Buraq Wall in the Old City of occupied Al-Quds.
