An Israeli opinion poll revealed that Benny Gantz would be the best qualified to lead the occupation government, with the Likud equivalent to the "national camp" and Netanyahu's coalition losing members in the Knesset from 64 to 51, if elections were conducted soon.

Furthermore, the poll also revealed that there is dissatisfaction with the extremist leader "Otzma Yehudit" party and the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, and a decline in his popularity to the point where he is close to the electoral threshold. In contrast, the increase in the proportion of the parties that make up the opposition from 56 Knesset members to 69. This means that the opposition can form a government without the participation of the List of the Arab Front for Change.
