The Israeli website, Yedioth Ahronoth, stated that the occupation government will request the cancellation of the petition submitted to the Israeli Supreme Court to demand the evacuation of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar, in occupied Al-Quds.

The Israeli government asserts that it is attempting to negotiate an evacuation agreement with the Palestinians in Khan Al-Ahmar.Moreover, the government is also anticipated to reiterate its prior claim that forcing evacuation at this time would have political and security repercussions.

Last February, the Israeli Supreme court gave the occupation government a final deadline to submit its final response to the petition, warning that it would consider accepting the petition and ordering the evacuation of the village.
