Training Program for Government Employees in the Gaza Strip

On Thursday, April 27, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum of project understanding with the PALM Strategic Initiative Center. This memorandum aims to conduct a training program titled “Diplomatic Etiquette and Protocol for Government Employees in the Gaza Strip,” which will be funded by the center. 

The program consists of 64 diverse training hours distributed over 4 courses, with 16 training hours for each course. The program courses will be directed at some specific categories, including undersecretaries, chairpersons of governmental bodies, and assistant undersecretaries in Gaza. In addition to the directors-general working in the department of international relations and cooperation, and the managers of project circles working in the field concerned.

Noteworthy, this training program aims to provide the participants with sufficient knowledge about the fundamentals and concepts of etiquette and protocol. In addition, the marketing tactics for the projects, depend on international protocol, will be a crucial component of the program. The program will also hone the participants' skills in communication with different categories of guests. Additionally, they will benefit from using diplomatic etiquette applications in their work offices.

The training will commence at the beginning of the upcoming May and last for two consecutive months.
