The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished Challenge 5 Primary School in Bayt Ta'mar, Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. 

Bassam Jaber, education director in Bethlehem, stated that a force from the Israeli army, accompanied by military vehicles, broke into Bayt Ta'mar and besieged the school. In addition to this, they closed the whole area, prevented civilians from reaching it. Demolishing the school and confiscating its contents ensued. Notably, the school was demolished in 2017.

Subsequently, confrontations erupted between the Palestinian civilians and the IOF in the school district, during which the IOF fired stun grenades, tear gas canisters. As a result, a number of Palestinians suffered breathing problems.
