Following the start of its onslaught at dawn on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation reopened the crossings with the Gaza Strip from south to north, after blocking them for five consecutive days.

After preventing them for days due to the onslaught on the Strip, the Israeli marine police finally permitted the Palestinian fishermen to access the water. Moreover, after making sure that the schools were secure enough to welcome the students again, the Ministry of Education in Gaza announced the start of classes in public and private schools, UNRWA, and kindergartens in the governorates of Gaza as of Monday morning, May 15, 2023.
