On the anniversary of the so-called Flags March, which is scheduled to take place next Thursday, representatives from Al-Quds urged people to strengthen their existence in Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in order to halt the Flags March.
According to Jerusalem researcher, Fakhri Abu Diab, the failure to accomplish the Flags March’s goals requires the significance of Rebat (resilience) in the Bab Al-Amoud area and the necessity of waving the Palestinian flag everywhere in the Holy City.
In a formal appeal, “Back to Temple Mount” activists asked permission for settlers to enter the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa during the Flags March, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday. In addition, Zionist groups try to mobilize 7500 colonial Israeli settlers for the march, and the occupation imposes restricted security measures to pave the way for the settlers.
