In the preliminary reading, the Knesset ratified a new law that bans raising the Palestinian flag in groups, along with halting the demonstrations and arresting the demonstrators in case they dared to raise the flag.

If the law is approved with its three readings, no rally or demonstration will be allowed, during which the Palestinian flag was raised by at least three people. In addition, whoever dares to raise the Palestinian flag will be sent to jail. 

According to the law, Israeli police have the right to clean up the demonstrations, and the demonstrators will be sentenced for a year.
