The investigative program aired by Al Jazeera “The Hidden is More Immense” has revealed that a senior official in the office of former Israeli occupation army, Benny Ganzts, admitted to American officials that Israel was responsible for killing Abu Akleh.

According to the program, the Israeli senior informed his American counterparts that the killing of Abu Akleh was a mistake and Israel will not acknowledge or declare it. 

“The Hidden is More Immense” obtained Israeli investigation documents into the assassination of Palestinian journalists. They revealed the extent of Israeli manipulation and evasion of responsibility from such crimes. Stephen Beck, an American expert, said that the acoustic export of the bullets that hit Shireen Abu Akleh and their trajectories settled the debate about the shooter, who was an Israeli sniper.
