During a settlers’ assault on Burqa village in Nablus, civilians suffered injuries from bullets’ shrapnel, bruises, while dozens of others suffered tear gas inhalation.
Ghassan Douglas, the officer in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, confirmed that under the guardianship of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), a group of illegal settlers sneaked from the evacuated "Homesh" settlement site and attacked civilian homes in various parts of the village.
Furthermore, he stated that as the Palestinian civilians confronted the assault, clashes broke out, inflicting injuries on four people with bullet shrapnel, the same number with bullets, another with bruises from the settlers' assault on him, and 55 people with tear gas inhalation. In the same context, nearly 50 colonial settlers attacked 3 houses at the outskirt of the village with stones. They also broke the windows of a number of vehicles there.
