Jun 06, 2023 12:14 pm

According to the 7th Israeli Channel, modifications have been unveiled regarding what the Minister of National Security in Israel, Itamar Ben Gvir, is willing to approve in order to facilitate the chances for more colonial Israeli settlers to obtain the private firearm license for 30 thousand people in the upcoming period.
The newspaper showed that these modifications include allowing every Israeli citizen over the age of 21 to apply for a license to own a weapon, as long as they have completed their military service. They also include allowing ambulance volunteers, seminary students, and regular army soldiers to apply for licenses to own personal weapons.

Furthermore, the newspaper reported that those modifications were made in response to the ongoing shootings and the rising demand for licenses to own weapons. The channel also reported that 11,393 people—an increase from last year—had gotten a license for the ownership of weapons in the previous few months.
