The so-called “Admission Committees Law,” which supports the plans to Judaize Al-Galilee and the expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank, was adopted in preliminary reading by the Israeli occupation Knesset plenary.
The law calls for lowering land costs, extending the law to settlements in the occupied West Bank, and expanding the authority of “Admission Committees” in “Jewish” villages where there are 1,000 instead of 400.
The so-called “Minister of Negev and Galilee Development” in Benjamin Netanyahu's administration, Yitzhak Verslov, commented on the law's ratification by stating that “the Judaization and development of the Negev and the Galilee is a national mission” and emphasizing that “this decision is crucial for the development of rural settlement in the Negev and Al-Galilee.
