The 58-year-old tradition of the pro-Israel march in New York at the beginning of the week went off without a hitch. The Israeli MPs who participated in the march felt anxious and inspired to take part in it for the first time.

The participating lawmakers are members of a coalition that the American Jewish community reserves for itself as a bastion of liberalism in the USA, and who openly express their dislike for what they refer to as an “extremist-right religious government.”

Another significant turning point in the relationship between Israel and the American Jewish community in the USA was undoubtedly the march's fears. After bringing a sense of rage, exhaustion, and disgust with judicial reform to the streets of Manhattan and other significant American cities, and after the Jewish community did not defend the government's actions in Al-Quds. It also succeeded in revealing the idea that the present administration was successful in reversing criticism leveled at it.

Until today, the community's top men, its rabbis, and its activists have adhered to the principle that Israel's internal affairs must not be meddled with. However, Likud ministers and other right-wing members of the government in particular are responsible for elevating Israel's internal affairs to a high position on the community's agenda in the United States.

To comprehend how much Israel's “internal affairs” have engulfed the public, senior community men who oppose judicial reform or what they perceive as “extremist religious control over the government” should be listened to.

Moreover, the recent unwillingness to discuss Israel's government's internal errors and lack of criticism of its failings is considered a big mistake that will badly affect Israel's future.
