Mohammad Hassanein, 21, was proclaimed a martyr after being critically injured by the Israeli occupation forces at the northern gate to Al-Bireh, according to the Ministry of Health.
The young man, Hassanein, from the Gaza Strip who resides in the city of Ramallah, was shot in the head by an occupation soldier when he was with several other young men who took part in a spontaneous rally decrying the ongoing Israeli assault on Jenin at the northern gate to Al-Bireh.
On May 15, 2019, the Israeli occupation forces detained the young Hassanein, a former prisoner who had been shot in the right foot and suffered blood vessel lacerations.
