Introduction

On the morning of July 3, 2023, the Israeli occupation army carried out its widest military operation in twenty years within the occupied city of West Bank. The operation involved hundreds of soldiers, military drones, warplanes, bulldozers and armored vehicles. Its explicit objective was to restore deterrence against the resistance groups pervasive in Jenin and to destroy the infrastructure, organizational structure and human assets of those groups in the Jenin refugee camp.
