The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs has published new testimonies from a group of detainees from the Gaza Strip who were visited during July 2025.

According to the Commission, these recorded testimonies from inside Israeli prisons represent part of hundreds of affidavits documented by Gaza detainees who were subjected to crimes of torture, abuse, and humiliation, including sexual assaults. These violations have led to the martyrdom of dozens, while many others remain under enforced disappearance.

The Commission noted that one of the testimonies described jailers pouring boiling water over a detainee’s body, while another spoke of prisoners being forced to strip naked and brutally beaten.

Another detainee testified that he was forced to drink alcohol, and one more recounted being attacked by a police dog, which left him injured.
