A stand opposing house demolitions was suppressed by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Silwan, south of occupied Al-Quds.

Confrontations broke out between the civilians and the occupation forces, who attacked the stand's perimeter in support of the Al-Rajabi family, who had received a notice from the occupation that their home would be demolished, and battered the participants with tear gas canisters and stun grenades. The participants were suppressed by the occupation forces using stun grenades and bullets, which started a fire in the plants near the house.

In occupied Al-Quds, there were 20 occurrences of demolitions and bulldozing in June, eight of which were carried out by homeowners against their will and to avoid paying high taxes. This indicates that the practice of demolishing Palestinian homes is still ongoing.
