To protest the proposal to weaken the judiciary, tens of thousands of Israeli protesters marched in the direction of the Knesset.
The demonstration march was a step up in opposition to the coalition government's plan and the continuation of legislation meant to undermine the Supreme Court and weaken the judiciary.
In addition to other protests at dozens of locations and significant intersections, it was estimated that about 100,000 people participated in the demonstration in front of the Knesset.
Two thousand people protested in front of Yoav Gallant's home, the home of the Israeli Defense Minister, to call for compromise and to stop the legislation.
