During a campaign of raids initiated in the occupied West Bank governorates, the Israeli occupation forces detained 16 civilians.

In a news release, the Prisoners' Information Office stated that the Israeli forces had detained 13 Palestinians in the southern West Bank village of Beit Ummar, which is located north of Hebron.

They also detained Sheikh Hilal Khalouf, from Jenin in the northern West Bank, and Sultan Khalouf, the commander of the Islamic Jihad Movement. In Nablus, after breaking into his home in the town of Qabalan, south of the governorate, the occupation troops detained a student from An-Najah University.
