During their invasion of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed 27-year-old Amir Khalifa.

According to local sources, the young Khalifa was transferred to the hospital, where he was then announced dead due to his critical injury after being shot in the head during the occupying troops' raid on the village of Zawata.

With the death of Amir, there have now been 219 Palestinian martyrs since the year's start.
