Palestinian Rescue Team Travels to Morocco to Help in Rescuing Earthquake Casualties

Following the terrible earthquake that struck southwest of Marrakesh and left hundreds of people dead and homeless, a Palestinian team made up of rescuers and medical teams will go to Morocco this evening from the occupied West Bank.
Imad Al-Zuhairi, the director general of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency, stated that the team consists of 24 employees, including 10 doctors with expertise in treating bone fractures and emergencies, as well as 10 others from the Civil Defense, experts from the Red Crescent, and a team from the official media.
He stated that the Palestinian team has completed all essential planning and coordination to assure its travel and arrival in Morocco and that it will depart this evening. He added that the delegation will stay in Morocco for about 7 days at a minimum.
