The development of the settlement neighborhood "Kadamat of Suhyon or Tesyon," which will be established in the occupied village of Abu Dis in Jerusalem, is scheduled to be approved by the Commission on So-Called Planning and development of the Occupation.

The plan, according to the Israeli weekly newspaper Maariv, calls for the construction of 400 settlement homes close to the border fence that runs through the village of Abu Dis.

This settlement neighborhood will be a component of a larger strategy to connect settlements east of Jabal Al-Mukaber with one another and will be meant to completely annex the eastern partr of Al-Quds, overlooking neighborhoods like Ras al-Ayn, Qadum Valley, Sulwan, Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Old Town.
