The Israeli gunfire targeted protesters along the illegal separation fence in the besieged eastern Gaza Strip with bullets and tear gas canisters. Subsequently, the young man, Youssef Radwan (25), was proclaimed a martyr, while many others suffered various injuries and tear gas inhalation.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Radwan was shot in the head by the occupying forces; afterwards, he was proclaimed a martyr, while nine other people also suffered injuries, one of whom was diagnosed with a critical condition.

It's worth noting that in protest of Israeli repressive tactics towards prisoners in Israeli jails and assaults on Jerusalemites at Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, hundreds of Palestinian civilians are demonstrating close to the separation fence on Gaza's eastern border for the second week straight.
