The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, held an extensive security consultation session to discuss the latest security developments, especially events on the border with the Gaza Strip during the Jewish holidays.

The Israeli Channel 13 reported that Netanyahu invited security leaders to the meeting, including the Chief of Staff, Hertzi Halevi, Defense Minister Yuval Gantz, Government Coordinator Ghassan Alyan, and other officials.

The meeting comes in the wake of escalation on the Gaza Strip's borders, and various challenges on different fronts will be discussed. The Israeli military has raised its alert status, and thousands of police personnel have been deployed in urban centers out of concern for potential attacks during the Jewish holidays.
