Food supplies and essential goods are running out in Gaza's markets due to the Israeli occupation's closure of crossings for the ninth consecutive day.

The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that most community kitchens have ceased operations due to a shortage of food and supplies, depriving thousands of families of their meals.

It added that many families have resorted to burning wood as fuel due to the depletion of cooking gas. Additionally, the halt in diesel supply has prevented municipal vehicles from removing the already accumulating waste.

The office warned of the consequences of not delivering tents to citizens amid the severe cold.

The occupation continues to deepen the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a means of pressuring Hamas to accept its new conditions for completing the ceasefire agreement.
