The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that Israel has killed 145 Palestinians, averaging 7 people every two days since the ceasefire took effect on January 19, 2025. Meanwhile, Israel continues to use siege and starvation as tools of slow extermination, contributing to what the monitor describes as genocide in Gaza.

The monitor’s field team documented ongoing killings by Israeli forces, whether through sniper fire or drone attacks ("Quadcopters"), particularly targeting civilians attempting to check on their homes near the buffer zone imposed along Gaza’s northern and eastern borders.

Furthermore, the report highlights Israel’s continued genocidal policies through a total and illegal blockade, choking Gaza by blocking humanitarian aid, while the international community remains largely inactive.
