The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
According to the WFP, two million people—most of them displaced—are currently living without any source of income and rely entirely on humanitarian aid to meet their basic food needs.

The agency warned of an "increasing danger" threatening hundreds of thousands of Gaza residents due to a sharp decline in food supplies and the inability to replenish them because of border closures.

It stressed that Gaza is in urgent need of an immediate, continuous, and uninterrupted flow of food to avoid a total collapse in food security.
