The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has announced that the Martyr Mohammed Al-Durra Children's Hospital, located in eastern Gaza City, has gone out of service following severe damage caused by an Israeli strike two days ago.
Ismail Al-Thawabteh, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, stated that the targeting of the hospital is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, which criminalize attacks on protected medical facilities.
Al-Thawabteh also warned that the healthcare situation in Gaza is catastrophic in every sense of the word, emphasizing that the health system is on the verge of complete collapse.
