The Civil Defense Directorate announced that fuel supplies for operating firefighting, rescue, and ambulance vehicles have run out in the southern governorates of the Gaza Strip, leading to the shutdown of 8 out of 12 vehicles.

The Civil Defense warned that their ability to respond to citizens' emergency calls in these areas will be extremely limited, with only 4 vehicles remaining operational. This situation poses a serious threat to the lives of hundreds of thousands of citizens and displaced persons in shelter centers.

The Civil Defense called on the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and international organizations to take immediate action to open Gaza's crossings, allow fuel entry, and supply humanitarian institutions and agencies working in the field.
