Warnings of Imminent Shutdown of Kuwait Hospital in Southern Gaza

Kuwait Specialized Hospital has issued a warning about the potential suspension of its operations due to the imminent depletion of its medical supplies, which are only sufficient for about one more week.

This warning comes as the Israeli blockade on Gaza, including the complete closure of all border crossings and the halt of humanitarian aid and relief, enters its third month—over 60 consecutive days.

The hospital revealed that more than 75% of essential medicines are now unavailable in its warehouses, severely compromising the medical staff’s ability to provide adequate care for patients in Rafah, southern Gaza.

The hospital urgently appealed to all international humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately to prevent an impending health disaster in the Gaza Strip.
