The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that Israeli forces have significantly intensified their attacks across the Gaza Strip in recent days, carrying out systematic destruction of remaining homes and civilian infrastructure, and committing massacres against the population.
The monitor stated that its field team documented the killing of more than 115 Palestinians, including women and children, in northern Gaza alone within less than 12 hours, following Israeli airstrikes that hit at least 10 homes. Over half of the victims remain trapped under the rubble, as rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the severe lack of equipment and resources.
The rights group also noted limited ground incursions by Israeli forces from two axes—north of Beit Lahia and east of Jabalia—under heavy shelling, raising concerns of a wider ground offensive.
Euro-Med emphasized that the current military campaign reflects the explicit strategy stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who declared: “We will continue to destroy Gaza’s homes until Palestinians are left with no shelter and are forced to leave.” Netanyahu added that the only obstacle is “finding countries willing to take them in.”
