The Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza announced that 75% of its vehicles are no longer operational across all governorates of the Gaza Strip due to a lack of fuel needed to operate them.
The directorate stated that the pace of Israeli bombardments and home strikes is increasing, making it impossible for the Civil Defense to respond to citizens' calls due to severe shortages in essential resources — especially fuel, heavy rescue equipment, spare parts, and vehicle repair supplies.
The directorate warned that all vehicle services could come to a complete halt within the next 72 hours if fuel is not delivered, even at a minimum level.
