Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that his government is facing European and American pressure due to the intensifying bombardment and aggression on the Gaza Strip and the worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
During a security consultation, Netanyahu stated: “Pressure is increasing from Europe and the United States, and without support, the war cannot continue.” He added: “They told us we have to decide where we are heading.”
According to a report published by the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, the occupation government has reached a point where it must make decisions that will come at a cost — but are unavoidable — or risk losing all the achievements made so far.
The British government recently announced the suspension of free trade agreement negotiations with the Israeli entity and summoned its ambassador in London, due to the expansion of the war on Gaza.
Additionally, foreign ministers from 22 countries, including France, Germany, the UK, Canada, Japan, and Australia, have called on the occupation to allow full and immediate access for humanitarian aid into Gaza, under the supervision of the United Nations and non-governmental organizations.
