40 congressmen sent a letter to Secretary Michael Pompeo demanding the US administration to intervene and stop the occupation’s demolition and displacement policies as to what happened to Humsa village in the Palestinian valleys. 73 Palestinian citizens, including 41 children, were displaced. The congressmen also opposed the annexation plan. The letter described the situation as expansion of the Israeli annexation policy – which would have never happened had not the US government been silent about it. The statement demanded the Secretary to review whether the military equipment donated by the US government to the occupation had been used in the demolition operations of the Khan Al-Ahmar village. This letter has been sent at around the time Pompeo is planning to visit occupied Golan and the settlements in the West Bank.
