The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 300 Palestinians have died as a result of malnutrition and the shortage of food and medicine in the Strip.
The Civil Defense Department reported the death of Mohammed Yassin, a 4-year-old child, due to malnutrition under the ongoing blockade and the continuation of Israel’s starvation policy.

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned of a catastrophic deterioration in the health and humanitarian situation in Gaza, affirming that about 71,000 children and over 17,000 mothers are in urgent need of treatment due to severe acute malnutrition.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the continued denial of access to food and essential supplies in Gaza is leading to a "rising death toll and a slide toward famine."

Meanwhile, Oxfam International affirmed that the worsening famine in Gaza is deliberate and premeditated, warning that the population facing famine risk there is currently the largest in the world.
