UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, stated that the United Nations has a plan to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza on a large scale.

The United Nations described the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip as the worst since the beginning of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023.

UN Secretary-General's spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, spoke about the evacuation of Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza and the continued forced displacement operations, noting that 200,000 Palestinians have been displaced over the past two weeks. He stressed the urgent need to continue providing humanitarian support to civilians in need across the Strip despite the strict Israeli restrictions on the entry of aid.
