The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that surgical teams in Gaza Strip hospitals are facing severe difficulties due to a critical shortage of surgical instruments and operating trays.
The Ministry explained that the severe shortage of surgical tools is now hindering the performance of life-saving operations.
Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said that the Israeli occupation is targeting the electric generators that supply power to hospitals in Gaza. The three largest generators feeding the hospitals have been destroyed, and 85% of the health services in the Gaza Strip have been damaged. This has caused a loss of control in the medical sector, making it extremely difficult to handle the injured.
