For the second year in a row, students inside the Gaza Strip have been deprived of sitting for the General Secondary School Certificate Exams (Tawjihi), which began today in the occupied West Bank, due to the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Strip since October 7, 2023.

Around 46,000 students in the West Bank and approximately 2,000 students from Gaza who are currently outside Palestine headed to exam halls.

According to the Ministry of Education, 16,607 students have been martyred and 26,271 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the West Bank on October 7, 2023.

It also indicated that 914 teachers and administrative staff were martyred and 4,363 were injured in Gaza and the West Bank, with more than 196 arrested in the West Bank.
