UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated that the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Mission" offers civilians in the Gaza Strip "nothing but starvation and bullets."

Lazzarini noted that “over 130 non-governmental humanitarian organizations, including UNRWA, have called for the restoration of a unified UN-led coordination and distribution mechanism for aid in Gaza, based on international humanitarian law.”

He added that dozens of humanitarian organizations have demanded an end to the operations of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Mission," as it “offers nothing but hunger and gunfire” to the Palestinian population in Gaza.

The number of Palestinians martyred at Israeli-American aid distribution centers in Gaza has risen to 591, with 4,216 injured and 39 missing.
