The Israeli occupation has given 22 Palestinian families a four-day ultimatum to evacuate their homes in the town of Umm Tuba in Sur Baher, south of occupied Jerusalem, in order to seize their land.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that 22 families, comprising 180 individuals, were ordered to leave their homes in the Al-Mashahid neighborhood of Umm Tuba, which lies opposite the “Har Homa” settlement built on Palestinian land in Jabal Abu Ghneim, in preparation for taking over the area.

Yousef Abu Tair, a Jerusalemite and one of the affected residents, said that the Israeli court has given him and the other 21 families until the 7th of this month to evacuate their homes.
