The United Nations stated that Israel continues to obstruct humanitarian aid efforts in the Gaza Strip, having rejected 3 out of 8 relief initiatives submitted by the UN on Sunday.

UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that one in three people in Gaza has gone without food for days, stressing the urgent need to open all crossings to ensure aid distribution and to fulfill obligations under international humanitarian law.

He also noted that 700,000 people have been displaced multiple times since Israel violated the ceasefire in March, emphasizing that these individuals have no safe place to go.
