Hamas announced that it has submitted its official response to the ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip to the mediators but did not disclose details of its content.
The response reportedly concerns amendments requested by Hamas regarding the Israeli army’s redeployment maps during the truce period and the mechanism for the entry and distribution of humanitarian aid.

According to the source, the movement demanded that during the proposed two-month period, Israeli forces be positioned away from civilian areas. It also stipulated that the entry and distribution of humanitarian aid be carried out exclusively through United Nations agencies, completely excluding the body known as the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” from this task.

Channel 12 quoted a senior Israeli official as saying, “Israel has received Hamas’s response to the proposal and is currently reviewing it.”
