The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced 10 new deaths caused by famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of famine-related deaths to 111.
Amjad Al-Shawa, head of the Gaza Civil Society Network, stated that all residents of Gaza are starving, noting that 50,000 infants cannot be breastfed by their mothers due to malnutrition.
He confirmed that famine has affected all groups and sectors in Gaza, including young people, adding, "If immediate intervention is not made, malnutrition will have a profound impact on an entire generation."
The famine in Gaza is worsening as the Israeli occupation continues to close crossings and prevent the entry of aid and fuel since March 2nd.
