The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that hospital occupancy has reached 300%, reflecting the scale of the “health and humanitarian catastrophe” caused by Israel.
Munir Al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry, said this figure is “unprecedented (since October 7, 2023) and reflects the magnitude of the health and humanitarian disaster we are experiencing today.”
Despite Israel allowing a limited number of humanitarian aid and goods trucks to enter about three weeks ago, famine persists, as most of those trucks are subjected to theft and looting.
