Israeli occupation forces continue their assault on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank for the 217th consecutive day.

According to the Media Committee of Jenin Camp, after more than seven months since the displacement of nearly 22,000 residents of the camp and its surroundings, the displaced have been scattered across the villages and city of Jenin, living in housing conditions that do not provide a dignified life.

The committee reported that around 700 Palestinian families were forced to live in old and dilapidated houses in the town of Zababdeh, south of Jenin. It added that these families suffer from the loss of jobs and income sources since the beginning of the displacement.

According to the committee, the occupation has destroyed 70% of Jenin Camp, which is experiencing a complete collapse of its infrastructure after the bulldozing of more than 650 buildings containing hundreds of housing units. This has imposed a new geographic reality inside the camp, with newly created roads and fragmented neighborhoods.
